What this does
Shows every page of the PDF, lets you turn any of them by 90 degrees at a time, and saves a new PDF with the pages the right way up. You can reorder or remove pages in the same step.
What it can’t do
Straighten a page that was scanned slightly crooked. Rotation is in steps of 90 degrees; deskewing a scan needs a scanning application.
A worked example
A contract scanned with a phone has pages 3 and 4 upside down. Two clicks turn them, the file is saved, and the other party opens it without having to turn their head.
Questions
- Can I rotate just one page?
- Yes. Every page is shown as a small picture with its own rotate button. Turn one page, several or all of them.
- Is the rotation saved in the file?
- Yes. Rotating in a PDF reader usually changes only how you see it; this writes the new orientation into the file, so it opens upright for everyone.
- Does rotating reduce quality?
- No. The page is not redrawn; only its orientation is changed.
Your file stays on this device
The tool above runs in a sealed frame that cannot send your file anywhere. It works with airplane mode on, and the counter above it stays at 0. Here is how you can check that yourself.
