What this does
Copies the pages you keep into one new PDF. Pages are not re-rendered, so text stays sharp and selectable.
What it can’t do
Merge a password-protected PDF. Remove the password first.
A worked example
A job application needs one file. A cover letter, a CV and two certificates are added, the CV is dragged to the front, and one PDF comes out.
Questions
- How do I set the order?
- Every page is shown as a small picture. Drag pages into place or use the arrows under each one.
- Is there a limit on size or number of files?
- Only your device's memory. Hundreds of pages are fine on a computer; on a phone, merge in smaller batches.
- Are bookmarks and links kept?
- Links on the pages are kept. Bookmarks (the outline panel) are not carried into the merged file.
Your file stays on this device
The tool above runs in a sealed frame that cannot send your file anywhere. It works with airplane mode on, and the counter above it stays at 0. Here is how you can check that yourself.
